Products

This product specification is produced for the roads industry to be mixed in the bitumen spray on mix on the surfaces of the tar when roads are constructed.

This product specification is used mainly as the infill for artificial turf as well as the manufacturing of the elastic layer. This product is also used to make rubber bricks for children’s playgrounds.

This product specification is used in the construction of hockey pitches and athletic track surfaces.

This product specification is mainly used for the surfaces of equestrian arenas.

This product specification is used in various markets as a substitute for coal and could be used in the pyrolysis process. This is also used as an alternative in the equestrian arena.

Steel Wires are used in the belts, bead and plies of tyres. Therefore, we have a high tensile steel that is a by-product of when we shred waste tyres. These wires are to be reused by local and International Steel Industries.

Applications

Rubber granules are mixed with the polyurethane binder and then painted to produce running surfaces. The use of recycled rubber assists with impact absorption, increase in performance and injury reduction.

Mixed with a polyurethane binder, recycled rubber granules are rolled into noise-reducing insulation. These rubber matting insulations are especially used in units and apartments, under flooring and in walls for reducing and isolating noise. The use of a waterproof flexible binder also protects from the elements.

Recycled rubber is used in Play Safe surfaces, such as children’s playgrounds, to lower the force of impact and reduce injuries. These durable and low-maintenance surfaces are also porous, allowing them to perform even in the harshest South African weather climates.

Granulate rubber crumb is used in asbestos-free brake shoes. The use of heat-resistant rubber instead of asbestos-based materials is a developing technology in South Africa. The rubber component reduces noise and improves wear. It also lowers noise, improves wear, and minimises dust output to a degree to enhance vehicle appearance.

A variety of matting products are made from recycled rubber, for both internal and external use, in both commercial and domestic use. These include non-slip doormats, marine surfaces and mats for workshops and kitchens. The mats are hard-wearing, weather-resistant and can be washed easily.

Recycled rubber granules are added to paint coatings, providing grip in areas that may become slippery in treacherous marine conditions. Covered areas include walkways of boats or strips that are applied to the edges of stairs.

Added to passenger and forklift tyres (solid), recycled rubber is mixed with uncured rubber as a predictable filling compound before baking. This reduces the use of new materials and lowers the cost of manufacture.

Recycled rubber is becoming more commonly used in tile adhesives, allowing the adhesive to retain a great deal of the flexible properties of cured rubber. This additional flexibility also prevents the tiles from cracking, which is caused by buildings’ movement over time, and provides important water-resistant and sound dampening properties.

Recycled rubber can also be used under synthetic grass for softness. This is particularly useful for sporting grounds. The grass is often injected directly into the recycled rubber and a polyurethane binder. Also, in combination with silica sand, a layer of rubber granulate is used to hold the synthetic grass strands upright when installed onto the pitch.

Rubber chips has unique properties that make it an excellent choice as an additive to sand horse arena footing. It provides cushion to reduce stress and concussion on horse legs without sacrificing properties that provide stability and traction to a successful footing.

Crumb rubber is also used to modify bitumen in an appropriate manner, so that its resistance to temperature, water etc is better. This modified bitumen is one of the important construction materials for flexible Road pavement. The rubber waste/crumb rubber modified bitumen show better properties for road construction.

Crumb Rubber is used in rubberized waterproofing and its derivative liquid rubber as a must use coating application. The rubber allows the waterproofing to be impervious to most types of damages like cracks and corrosion.
